Vantastival Shortlisted for Awards

We are delighted to announce that Vantastival is currently in the running for both an IMRO award and not one but three Irish Festival Awards!

One again Vantastival is in the running at the Irish Festival Awards. This one is voted for by you, the punter, and we are nominated in three categories – Best Small Festival, Best Lineup, and Family Festival Award. The IMRO Live Music Venue of The Year Awards are presented by the Irish Music Rights Organisation (IMRO) in recognition of Irish music venues that provide the very highest standards in live music entertainment, and acknowledge the central role that live music venues play in developing and supporting the music community in Ireland. Live music venues provide superb, quality entertainment to the public and a platform for Irish artists across all genres of music. Venues are assessed by Ireland’s songwriters, composers and publishers on a number of criteria including general ambience, staging, sound, lighting, diversity of music, artist relations and venue promotion. As an independent and non-commercial festival, Vantastival is proud to be shortlisted in a category that includes some of Ireland’s biggest and most successful events.
