Idle Discourse are an Experimental Alt-Rock 5 piece from Drogheda, Ireland. The band pride themselves on a sound that is refreshingly innovative and unmistakably Irish, by combining intricate EDM melodies and crushing guitar tones, layered with natively accented rap vocals.

Their unique sound and passionate live show performances have earned them notable recognition across Ireland and the UK, securing support slots with international acts like Wargasm and Skindred to name a few, along with festival performances domestically and in the UK

Idle Discourse released their long awaited sophomore E.P “Volume Two” in July of 2024. A 9 track journey that continues on the themes from their debut release, but expands and matures on the songwriting, topics, and energy of the project before.
