Lōwli
Lōwli (pronounced low-lee) is the music of Roisin Lowry, a composer and musician hailing from Galway, Ireland. Her music, an enchanting blend of elegant piano arrangements, delicate strings and haunting vocals, has charmed and captivated audiences around the country. Described by the Irish Times as “neat spookiness with beautifully arranged melodies”, her work bears elements of neoclassical and dark folk. Her work has been influenced by artists such as Agnes Obel and Olafur Arnalds.
Lōwli has performed on stages at Other Voices, Ireland Music Week & The Galway Arts Festival, to name a few. In 2023, she performed a sold out headline show in Dublin’s renowned Smock Alley Theatre. Her music has been played on RTE Radio 1, BBC Radio and more, as has been featured on the RTE Radio 1 Recommends List. Lōwli has recently written and recorded her debut album, which is set for release in 2025.
