The Cacks
Performing
The Cacks are a seven-piece band from Drogheda blending traditional Irish roots with contemporary twists. Each member plays multiple instruments — piano, bouzouki, bodhrán, guitars, and more — and contributes to the songwriting and harmonies, giving our music a diverse and layered feel.
Our sound pulls from folk, blues, Americana, rock, and even electronic influences — but always with a playful, slightly irreverent energy. We’ve been shaping this album over the past couple of years at sessions around East Meath, and finishing it with the brilliant James Eager and Peter Baldwin at Black Mountain Studio in the Mournes.
