Resin
Resin are widely considered to be Ireland’s greatest unsigned band. Bursting out of the college scene in the late 1990s, Resin had a flurry of interest from the majors and released the fabled EP ‘Do not Erase’ at that time which was in heavy rotation on the Dave Fanning 2FM radio show on its release. The band played a series of headliner gigs in that period in the Temple Bar Music Centre, Whelan’s, and The Village before going into hiatus for a few years. They produced the eponymous Resin EP in the mid noughties and played a now legendary set with the Stunning at Electric Picnic on that tour. In 2014, Resin recorded their debut Album ‘How to attract birds to your garden’ produced by Karl Odlum and have returned for a series of gigs in late 2024 and 2025 to celebrate the ten year anniversary of that release. Resin will be joined on stage at Vantastival by Ed Hart of the legendary Cornish band, King Dinosaur, and his brother Jim Hart the renowned vibraphonist, drummer, and composer on the European contemporary jazz and alternative music scene. This is a gig that you don’t want to miss!!!
