Methods of and Reasons for Data Collection

  • When you purchase a ticket to one of our events we will receive your information from our third party ticket agent.  This includes your name, contact details and ticket purchase information, such as number of tickets bought. We use the information provided by you to fulfill our obligation to you in delivering your event experience, and to give you important information about the event.
  • When you purchase a ticket to one of our events you enter into a contract with us. We use your information so we can process your order, take payment and provide you with customer support.
  • We also use your information to send you customer service emails including booking confirmations and event reminders.
  • When you visit our Website, we use cookies to tailor your experience and improve your interaction with the Website. We collect information such as the browser and device you’re using, your IP address, your location, the site you came from, what you did and didn’t use our Website for, or the site you visit when you leave us.  You can restrict your internet browser’s use of cookies but this may impair the functionality of the Website.
  • When you subscribe to our mailing list, we use your information to send you marketing emails about our events and related news and items of interest. Your consent is required for us to send you marketing emails.

Vantastival employs the services of third parties for certain processes necessary for the operation of the Website and/or the Festival. Our main service providers:

  • Eventbrite– All online ticket sales are processed by Eventbrite
  • Mailchimp – Vantastival’s newsletter and other emails relevant to the Festival are sent through Mailchimp.
  • Partners and website links – This Website provides links to the websites of our Festival partners and sponsors. The Website also links to other websites for the purposes of giving information about music and other elements of the Festival programme. We have no control over such sites and are not responsible for the content of them. This privacy policy does not extend to your use of such sites.
  • Google– We may use Google to collect your data

We may share your information when necessary with third parties who provide goods and services purchased by you (e.g. merchandise) so that they can process and fulfil your orders.

Additional third parties with whom we may share your information when necessary include:
