Vantastival powered by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles
We are very excited to announce that Vantastival 2016 will be powered by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
As Ireland’s most loved vans for over 65 years, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles sees a natural partnership with Vantastival. Hundreds of VW campervans, dating from the 1950s to present day, travel to Louth each year for the Festival. The partnership ties in with the re-imagination of Vantastival at our new home, Beaulieu House & Gardens, and we can’t wait to embrace all the wonderful new elements of the festival that will follow!
In even more exciting news, Badly Drawn Boy will headline The Volkswagen Main Stage on Saturday 4th June. A 15th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of the UK artist’s seminal Mercury Prize-winning album The Hour of Bewilderbeast was released in 2015, while his soundtrack to the 2002 film About a Boy remains one of his most critically acclaimed albums. Other new additions to the line up include Dublin hip-hop artist Sample Answer, Meath singer-songwriter Saramai who recently appeared in the IMRO Other Room on Other Voices, and loads more including a host of top notch local acts!
