GoldenPlec Presents….
We are delighted to announce that GoldenPlec have come on as a partner at this year’s Vantastival!
GoldenPlec will take us into the night on the VanHalla Stage, presenting late night DJs to keep the party atmosphere alive. Friday night – The Swedish Railway Orchestra, Saturday night – DJ SophisDKate, Sunday night – Decks N Drums (aka RSAG and The Kilo 1977)!
The GoldenPlec crew will be on site all weekend in their vintage VW campervan, interviewing bands and punters and capturing the vibe of the festival on film. They will also be presenting an unplugged session in The Spirit Store Bar, hosting some of the acts that are appearing on the main stages over the weekend as well as some that can’t be seen anywhere else.
GoldenPlec is an award winning music website run by an enthusiastic collective of Irish based writers and photographers. We were founded in 2002 as we felt there wasn’t enough coverage of both big and small shows around Ireland. We endeavor to be the first with music news and reviews for events in Ireland. We also pride ourselves on our extensive coverage of Ireland’s burgeoning music scene.
GoldenPlec is a two time winner of ‘Best Music Website in Ireland’ at the national Web Awards. We strive to be a platform for upcoming music journalists, photographers and more. One of the sites main focuses is on promoting and telling the world about our special Irish music scene. Having stated previously that Vantastival “shines as a beacon of everything great in the Irish music scene: talent, community, appreciation, togetherness and a sense that everything is improving year upon year.” As such, we are beyond happy to partner with Vantastival in 2014 in order to promote Irish music further.
